Our Approach
Our Approach
Empiricus incubates and invest in global start ups from its localities. Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, which constitute the three largest tech hubs and world class innovation centres in the Pearl River Delta of South East China. The region is declared world's biggest mega city by World Bank, with a population of 66 million, generates 10% of China's GDP and 25% of its exports. Empiricus collaborate with top scholars and scientists in these city hubs and also with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu - to understand the key challenges of environmental, public health, educational and social economic issues, and invest in solutions from new start ups that are tackling them.
Future
"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life."
